Packaging Machine Operator

Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator Location: Camarillo, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $17.50–$19.50 per hour (DOE) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable Packaging Machine Operator to support packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and cleaning packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production setting. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment according to production schedules Package products according to company specifications and quality standards Fill, seal, label, and prepare containers for shipment Load bottles, components, labels, caps, and packaging materials into production equipment Verify product accuracy and inspect packaging for quality and compliance Complete production documentation and batch records accurately Operate computerized equipment and enter production information into company systems Perform line clearances and product changeovers between production runsClean and sanitize equipment, conveyors, packaging rooms, and work areas Assist with palletizing finished goods and moving materials throughout production Support inventory control and staging of packaging materials Assist quality control personnel with inspections and product verification Follow all cGMP, SOP, FDA, DEA, and workplace safety requirements Perform other packaging and production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or production experience preferred Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and work orders Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Skills Machine operation Packaging and production support Quality inspection Documentation and recordkeeping Material handling cGMP and manufacturing compliance Team collaboration Work Environment Manufacturing and packaging facility Fast-paced production environment Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and production materials Compliance with FDA, cGMP, and safety standards required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion Ability to package products at production line speeds Ability to operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment Ability to work extended hours when production demands require Additional Requirements Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong attendance and reliability Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety What We Offer Full-time opportunity Stable manufacturing environment Opportunities for advancement and cross-training Team-oriented workplace Hands-on experience with production and packaging equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
