Valid Michigan Teaching Certificatefor grades 6-12 with RX endorsement required Displays a high degree of knowledge in teaching pedagogy at the high school level Adept in best teaching practices practices, core ideas, and cross-cutting concepts Applies sound principles of learning and motivation in the planning, delivery and assessment phases of instructional delivery Commitment to the district’s school improvement process and curriculum development efforts Experience and knowledge of quality instruction and classroom management Establishes positive relationships with students, parents, and school personnel Ability to communicate well at various levels with students, parents, and school personnel Evidence of a positive attitude and human relation skills Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters High level of flexibility SALARY AND BENEFITS As per the negotiated agreement with the CSEA WHO ARE WE? Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD).
