We're seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor for a 14-week travel assignment in New York, NY! This leadership opportunity is ideal for an RN with a strong background in Care Management, discharge planning, and utilization review who is ready to oversee a multidisciplinary team and improve patient outcomes.

Position Overview

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Nurse Supervisor (Care Management)
• Location: New York, NY
• Assignment Length: 14 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide Associate Director-level supervision for the Care Management Department.
• Oversee Care Managers, Care Coordinators, and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Lead discharge planning and utilization review initiatives to reduce hospital readmissions.
• Develop and implement programs to improve patient care and staff performance.
• Monitor quality metrics and assist with corrective action planning when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe patient transitions to the community.
• Assist in developing nursing policies, procedures, and educational programs.
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping systems to support quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Primary Source Verification of RN License from NYSED
• BLS Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• CCM (Certified Case Manager) Certification
• PRI Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in discharge planning and utilization review
• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in Care Management and patient care improvement
