Join us in our mission to positively impact US cardiology. About the Job Cardiovascular Specialists of New England is seeking a detailed Cardiac Technician. You will perform various duties such as patient preparation for stress testing, EKGs, mobile cardiac telemetry. You will report directly to the Office Manager. Responsibilities Preparation of patient for stress testing procedures, including patient interviews, medical history, and providing patient education related to stress testing procedures. Assess patient vital signs and establish peripheral intravenous (IV) access. Obtain baseline 12 lead EKG and monitor patient 12 lead EKG during stress testing. EKG for office patients Application and patient education on mobile cardiac telemetry devices Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience in a fast paced hospital and clinic based in cardiology Experience and competency in starting IVs, placing EKG leads and interpreting EKG rhythms. High school diploma required. Current certification and/or licensure showing knowledge and skills required. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certification required. Knowledge of fundamental theory, principles, practices, techniques and equipment used in all aspects of electrocardiographic testing. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in all areas. Able to work independently in high pressure situations. Work Location You will work out of Manchester, New Hampshire or Londonderry, NH office based on needs of the offices.
