Overview Base Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 / Hour Job Category: Clinical Contact Name: Jason Dicaprio Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Schedule Monday - Friday; hours based on caseload Position Concept The SLP provides assessment, treatment, counseling and rehabilitation of individuals for maximum retention or enhancement of expressive and receptive language skills and eating skills. Responsibilities Screening and/or diagnostic tests related to articulation, receptive/expressive language, voice, fluency or aural rehabilitation needs Evaluation in determining alternate/augmentative communication needs such as signing, electronic devices, communication boards Oral peripheral examinations related to structure and function as it pertains to feeding/swallowing problems Individual/Group therapy Assistance in pursuing electronic devices through Medicaid or other insurance or funding sources Position Qualifications The SLP shall have a Master’s Degree and required certification. In addition, the SLP will have at least one (1) year of post-degree experience, preferred to be in a human service setting serving persons with developmental disabilities.
