RN Job RN, Nurse Lead – Simi Valley Shift: Part-time, Night Shift Pay Range: $52.62 to $72.18 Job ID: 60434 Location: Simi Valley, 93065 Job Description Provides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Ensures that all patients on the unit receive cost effective, professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining the highest level of patient safety. Assesses and takes steps to improve quality of patient experience. Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Five years' technical experience: Preferred Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred Facility Specific Licenses/Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required Department Specific Licenses/Certifications AHA-PALS: Required Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM): Required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS): Required About The Hospital Centered in beautiful Southern California, Adventist Health Simi Valley has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1965.
