Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Start a Manufacturing Career — No Sewing Experience Needed Pacor is hiring an Entry-Level Industrial Sewer at our Gastonia, NC facility. We fabricate custom insulation blankets and covers used in industrial applications. If you have manufacturing experience and want to learn a new skill, we will train you. What You’ll Do: Learn to operate industrial sewing machines Measure, cut, and assemble insulation materials and fabrics Fabricate insulation blankets and covers to specifications Read and follow work instructions and measurements Inspect finished products for quality Keep your work area clean and organized What We’re Looking For: Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure accurately Willingness to learn industrial sewing (paid training provided) Good attention to detail Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Reliable and able to work on a team About Pacor, Inc.: Pacor is a U.S.-based manufacturer of thermal and acoustical insulation products. Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent general education degree Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English Use and read a ruler to within 1/16 of an inch Accurately complete basic math skills including calculating linear/square footage and work with fractions using a calculator. Use a computer to understand blueprints and read work orders. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance, on a regular basis.
