Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

This position requires working a night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and guiding patient/family education along with overseeing other nursing personnel in the Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse will communicate with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Additionally, the RN should be prepared to respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient conditions or responses to treatment.

Deliver safe and effective patient care in the Telemetry Unit.

Use the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Guide and educate patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.

Monitor patient conditions and communicate with physicians about necessary updates.

Respond to changes in patient status and coordinate care as needed.

Current and valid state RN License.

BLS and ACLS certification required.

Experience in ventilator management is preferred.

COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.

EPIC EMR experience is required.
