This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in supporting students near Mocksville, NC. Full-time roles begin in the fall of 2026 and extend through the school year. Two key coverage needs exist: fill a maternity leave from October to December 2026 (serving both a middle and elementary school), then transition to cover a retirement from January to June 2027 (primarily at the elementary level). Together, these roles offer the chance to make a meaningful difference for students across grade levels and needs.

What you'll bring:

• Active or eligible NC SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience with pediatric populations and/or previous school-based work
• Comfort supporting caseloads of approximately 45–55 students
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluation, therapy, and consultation services
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring for all students
• Serve both general education students and those in self-contained classrooms utilizing communication devices
• Adapt to two distinct coverage assignments:
  • October–December: 2 days/week with a middle school caseload, 2 days/week at elementary
  • January–June: Full-time elementary caseload following a retirement
