Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• Appropriate credential in echocardiography required. One of the following must be held:
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer from the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals
• Experience performing echocardiogram, limited echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, and transesophageal echocardiogram
• Experience with color doppler, power doppler, spectral doppler, and M-mode
• Experience performing portable exams
• Knowledge of Synapse echocardiography system, Synapse, PACS, and EPIC
