Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Facilities & Maintennce Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, presentation, and overall functionality of a private estate. This role is responsible for ensuring the home, grounds, and key systems are maintained to a high standard through regular inspections, preventive maintenance planning, project coordination, and quick response to operational needs. Responsibilities also include supporting property readiness, tracking maintenance-related expenses, and helping ensure all spaces remain safe, organized, and running smoothly. This position works closely with external contractors, vendors, and the maintenance team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This person should have strong maintenance and facilities experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle changing priorities with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. A positive attitude, flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel, and a strong sense of accountability are essential. A valid driver’s license is required, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of facility maintenance, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), mechanical equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Supervise maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Develop and oversee maintenance schedules using Maintenance Management Systems to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
• Coordinate projects related to construction projects or modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
• Monitor safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation.
• Lead efforts in optimizing facilities management processes through innovative practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in facilities management and operations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure (including high voltage and low voltage), and schematics interpretation.
• Supervising experience leading teams of technicians or maintenance staff; excellent leadership skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of preparing reports and conveying technical information clearly.
