The Guest Service Associate will also assist with theme nights and other events within the facility.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor all public session skating events both on and off the iceSupervise skating to ensure safe operations at all timesIssue skates and monitor the skate rental counter during public skating sessionsMaintain and care for rental skatesAssist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the ice arena, including sweeping, cleaning, and other custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness of the Panthers Ice Den lobby and rental areasProvide excellent customer service and ensure that all facility policies are properly implementedKnow and follow emergency procedures for building and evacuation plansPerform additional duties as requiredQualificationsMust be 16 years of age or older; college student preferredStrong ice-skating skills required; must be able to skate and pass a skating testPrior ice-skating rink experience preferredEffective leadership skills with a positive, team-first attitudeProfessional appearance and presentationComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift items up to 50 poundsMust be available to work Friday nights and weekendsPosition Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
