Wine Tasting Sales Associate

Job TitleSuccessful candidate will be personable, engaging, and highly energetic individual with a passion for customer service. Excellent representation of the LaBelle Winery brand is imperative for success. Team mentality is a must.Responsibilities Include:Engage guests with our welcoming, educational winery with a huge emphasis on customer service; each customer's experience must be exceptional, dazzling and memorable.Consistent delivery of outstanding customer service; LaBelle Winery believes it's the small details that makes experiences memorable.Responsible for providing the first line of information to the customer by greeting, directing and answering questions regarding our wines, food, merchandise, history, and facility.Responsible for greeting guestsResponsible for answering phonesResponsible for acquiring a strong comprehension of our wines; descriptions, pairings, etc.Serve samples of wine to customers in both small and large settings.Conducting tours of LaBelle WineryProvide travel and hotel information to guestsStocking and pricing merchandiseHandling routine purchasing transactions including operating cash registersResponsible for expanding wine education.Wine and vineyard club promotion and sales- build strong customer relations for returns, and to develop community recognition.Retaining/memorizing the menu, and provide recommendations for food, wine or beverages.Collaborating with the kitchen and the staff for a prompt and above satisfactory experience.Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic manner.Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.Strong sales-driven mentality is imperative. Tastings must be profitable.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 45lbs regularlyMust have ability to tolerate physical activity including standing for long periods, bending, walking and other physical activity.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectationsAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced environmentStrong work ethic with the willingness to take initiativeAble to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale systemTeamworkExperience:High School DiplomaBartending and/or server experience (2 + years)Sales experience (2+)Food service certificate preferredSchedule:Wednesday-Sunday, weekends/holidays necessaryWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
