Responsibilities include receiving and checking paperwork at the end of the day for accuracy and compliance according to company SOPs, and assisting the warehouse management with any day-to-day processes as assigned.This is a full-time onsite position in our San Jose location.The pay range for a qualified candidate will range between $18.49-$24.34/hr.This position is also eligible for a yearly bonus based on yearly financial goals.**Summary:**The Inventory Specialist focuses primarily on end-of-day check-in and inventory control processes as assigned by warehouse management. Responsibilities include receiving and checking paperwork at the end of the day for accuracy and compliance according to company SOPs, and assisting the warehouse management with any day-to-day processes as assigned.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Complete end-of-day audit of paperwork and returns by auditing delivery tickets for signatures, compliance, appropriate service codes, notations, and delivery exceptions ensuring all processes have been followed.* Verify and ensure what was received matches up with daily inventory logs.* Tag and put away returned inventory to the appropriate location in the warehouse.* Assist in keeping the facility clean and the floor free of debris.* Communicate effectively with vendors and other departments within Suddath to rectify any discrepancies (i.e. shortages, overages, and damages) with shipments in a timely manner.* Follow and enforce safety/security practices.* Assist in any day-to-day tasks as needed or assigned by the warehouse management.* Check-in previous day’s routes and delivery tickets, along with the Inventory Log.* Other duties and tasks as assigned.**Qualifications:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
