Postdoctoral Fellow in Allergy and Immunology

Job Summary Massachusetts General Physicians Organization, Inc. The Patil laboratory in the Center for Immunology and Inflammatory Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study allergen‑specific B cells in the development and treatment of allergic diseases. The laboratory focuses on understanding how allergies develop and can be effectively treated by understanding the role of antibodies, with a translational research approach using cutting‑edge, sample sparing techniques such as fluorescent multimers, single‑cell B cell receptor sequencing, and structural characterization of antibodies. Qualifications Strong background in experimental immune phenotyping, mammalian cell culture, and a broad range of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including genomics approaches. Ability to work independently and in a team, troubleshoot experimental challenges, and maintain attention to detail. Analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Documented track record of significant prior scientific achievement in the field of immunology. Salary range: $70,000 to $71,750 annually. Work location: 55 Fruit Street, Onsite.
