Junior Probate AttorneyOur respected four-attorney law firm in Queens, NY is seeking a motivated Junior Probate Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build and expand their probate practice while working alongside experienced attorneys in a supportive and collaborative environment.Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience handling probate and estate administration matters and be comfortable managing client relationships with appropriate supervision and mentorship.ResponsibilitiesHandle probate and estate administration matters from inception through completion.Prepare and file probate petitions and related Surrogate's Court documents.Assist executors and administrators throughout the estate administration process.Communicate directly with clients, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries.Draft legal correspondence, court filings, and related probate documents.Attend court appearances and conferences as necessary.Work closely with senior attorneys on complex estate matters.QualificationsAdmitted to practice law in New York (Required).Minimum 2 years of experience in Probate and Estate Administration.Familiarity with New York Surrogate's Court procedures.Strong organizational and client communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually.401(k).Health Insurance.Paid Time Off (PTO).Professional mentorship and career development opportunities.Supportive team environment.Work LocationQueens, NY (In-Person)
