Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography is responsible for performing CT scans per radiologist protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging. The candidate should function independently without supervision and possess strong technical skills in various imaging procedures.

10-hour varied shifts are available with no call requirement.

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography is responsible for performing CT scans per radiologist protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging. The candidate should function independently without supervision and possess strong technical skills in various imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine CT scans as per radiologist protocols.
• Conduct scans independently and maintain a high level of imaging quality.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation effectively.
• Engage in additional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging.
• Implement advanced imaging techniques including MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is required.
• Experience with venipuncture is a plus.
