Summary: Administers/interprets appropriate assessment measures in order to form appropriate recommendations for the management of communication disorders. Develops/provides treatment programs for patient populations ranging from children through geriatric. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications Required: Masters Degree in speech pathology and a valid State of Ohio Speech-Language Pathology Licensure Must be certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or obtain certification within 12 months of hire for a full-time employee or within 18 months of hire for a part-time employee Possesses current BLS certification, or obtains within 90 days of hire. Ability to travel to satellite locations. Preferred: None Physical Requirements May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
