RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an upcoming contract position. This role primarily involves working in adult ICU, Emergency Department, and Level III NICU, with a preference for experience in PICU. Candidates must possess an active license and should be prepared to start within the next week.

Schedule

The position requires flexibility with schedules, including weekends as needed. Candidates should be open to a 12-hour night shift with no on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult patients in critical care and emergency settings.
• Administer therapies, evaluate patient outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS certifications are required.
• Candidates must hold an RRT; CRT is not accepted.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
