Physical Therapist – Atrium Medical Center Job Type: Full-Time – Inpatient (may assist in Acute Care) Sign-on bonus: Available The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress in an inpatient and acute care setting. The Physical Therapist performs one-to-one physical therapy treatment for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and work-related impairments. Access to Medication Room is required to perform the assigned job function. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The Physical Therapist will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. Responsibilities include maintaining certification and/or licensure, meeting continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department. Education Degree in physical therapy from an accredited Physical Therapist program. Licensure Current physical therapy license in the State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal. Certification BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Experience May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one year of experience. Skills / Other Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age-specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
