Shop Crane Technician

Crane Mechanic/Technician

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Welding experience with AWS D1.1 certification, or ability to obtain certification within 3-6 months after hire preferred. Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus. Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Required to purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with typical 1st shift hours. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions. Pay & Training:

This position offers a pay range between $23.00 - $50.00 per hour depending on skills and qualifications for non-bargaining employees. Pay is provided on a bi-weekly basis and there are 14 days in the pay period, beginning on a Monday and ending on a Sunday. A customized training plan and career path is identified for each technician and provided within the first week of employment, outlining growth and advancement opportunities.
