Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a Windows System Administrator. This position is focused on managing our corporate network, servers, and virtual desktop infrastructure. The successful candidate will play an important role in our Information Technology team and work on many advanced technologies.

Primary Responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing IT Infrastructure operations (Physical/Virtual Servers, Networking Connectivity, Storage Network, VDI Help Desk Support, Daily Backup, VOIP Phone System).
- Install and upgrade servers following established guidelines.
- Responsible for production and all operational aspects of the on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain IT documentation when changes are made; assist in the development of IT strategic plans; develop IT plans and recommendations for management.
- Coordinate and implement off-hours server patch management.
- Monitor and review EDR/XDR alerts (events, security, and firewall, etc.) and resolve related issues.
- Respond to user’s help desk requests and keep them informed through problem resolution. Properly document the tasks performed to resolve each ticket.
- Communicate with vendors to troubleshoot, fix, upgrade, and improve hardware and software.
