Physical Therapist PRN

Role Overview: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. They collaborate with physicians to establish treatment plans, set goals, and evaluate progress, ensuring patient-centered care and realistic discharge plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy activities, adjust goals with patient/family input, and provide ongoing education. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions per departmental guidelines. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication. Engage in customer service by fostering teamwork, applying AIDET principles, and supporting a positive environment. Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and staff orientation. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (Masters or Doctoral). Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
