This Operator will be responsible for going different construction sites across the Wasatch Front. Depending on the needs of the site you will either drive the water truck use sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways in order to control dust or the sweeper truck to clean the roadways. Responsibilities:Safely operate water trucks and sweeper trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policiesPerform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working conditionLoad and unload equipment as neededMaintain accurate records of vehicle operation, including mileage, fuel usage, and maintenanceCommunicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure efficient operationPerform other tasks as directed by supervisors or dispatchQualifications:High school diploma or GEDValid Driver's License - CDL not required but highly preferred.Airbrake EndorsementClean driving record.Prior profession/construction driving experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to perform in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and cold, exposure to dust, and other elements.Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs.A few extra perks:Steady, year-round employmentOpportunities for growth and professional developmentOutstanding employee cultureCollaborative and dynamic work environmentSpecial Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to, and at all times, during employment.Hughes General Contractors, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
