School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Foresthill, California

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) to an engaging contract opportunity supporting students at the elementary and middle school levels. Two different placements are available for the upcoming school year, both offering the chance to make a meaningful difference for students' communication success.


Available Roles:

• Elementary/ESN Kindergarten: Full-time, 35 hours/week from August 17, 2026 through June 4, 2027, serving a caseload of 55 students at the elementary level.
• Elementary/Middle: Full-time, 35 hours/week over the same term, working with a caseload of 55 students at both elementary (K-4), middle (5-8) levels, and including homeschool and private students.

Each schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.


Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CA SLP license and ASHA CCC certification
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly with elementary and/or middle school caseloads
• Strong knowledge of evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech-language intervention for students within assigned caseload
• Collaborate with educators to integrate supportive strategies in classroom settings
• Complete required documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
