Job Description:


- Position: Medical Oncology Registered Nurse
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Required to float between units: Yes
- On-call required: No
- Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend
- Block schedules required: Yes
- Expected patient ratios: 1:4

Special Requirements:


- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required
- Preferred experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy patients
- Strong background in various chemotherapy and other cancer-related treatments

Additional Details:


- Must have a vehicle for this assignment!
- Candidates may float to other units based on skill sets
- Locations include: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Note for Seaside: Additional $5/hour incentive for floating shifts

Qualifications:


- Required Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
- Skills:
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Administration of chemotherapy and blood products
- Management of cytotoxic spills
- Patient/Family education and support
- Recognizing/managing side effects

- Daily Census: 21
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and more
