Requirements

Required certification: MLT - CLS
1+ years of experience
Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; charge experience preferred 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: Must have LA license or CLS 4. License: State or compact licensure required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EMR training provided during orientation 7. Shifts/Call: Mids 1300-2130 with rotating weekends; float may be required within hospital 8. RTO: Minimal holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted; travel experience required 11. Background: Must advise of any license hits at submittal; recent professional cancels will be reviewed 12. Modules: Only 2 hours billable, average 3-4 hours; recorded via transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Extensive lab equipment including Roche Cobas, Sysmex XM, CellaVision, automated instruments Critical: MLT position at Mid City campus. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. 1 reference needed. Orientation includes virtual day 1, on-site day 2, additional training day 3.
