Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $19.49, Stipend (Lodging $791.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,267.00


Total Comp :$1,968.64.

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 70+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Days -could be 1st or 2nd shift
• 8 hour shifts, both weekday and weekend
• 36 hours / week.

Mental Health Clinician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Provides treatment to inmates by developing, implementing and modifying individual treatment plans based on an evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
• Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen. Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload.
• Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates .

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed by the State in CA. The license MUST be in good standing
• Minimum one (1) year of related work experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
