Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 23456 Hawthorne Blvd Ste290 Torrance, CA 90505.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 am – 4:45 pm, rotating weekends may be requiredJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collecting payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:California state Phlebotomy license (CPT)6 months or more of experience as phlebotomistHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of experience as phlebotomistCurrent or Prior experience at LabCorpBilingual with proficiency in Spanish and EnglishAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patientsAble to pass a standardized color blindness test.Flexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportationAble to attend 2?week training in CaliforniaAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
