This Payroll Coordinator role pays $23/hr, offers a great work-life balance with half-day Fridays, and has the potential to become a long-term position.A well-established drywall and construction company specializing in commercial and residential projects throughout the Salt Lake Valley.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Payroll Coordinator Details:Temporary position$ 23.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Collect, review, and verify employee and contractor time records for accuracy and completeness.Enter payroll and timekeeping data into company systems.Coordinate payroll information with the company's third-party payroll provider for internal employees.Track labor hours and costs by project and job site.Process and distribute weekly contractor payments.Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to timekeeping, payroll, and contractor payments.Generate reports and assist with payroll-related audits as needed.Communicate with field personnel, supervisors, and contractors regarding payroll and timekeeping issues.Support additional administrative and accounting functions as requested.Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:Previous payroll, administrative, accounting, or data entry experience.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet weekly payroll deadlines.Bilingual English/Spanish HIGHLY PREFERREDWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
