Senior Network Systems Administrator

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in place of a degree with four years of relevant experience.
• We look for nine years of information technology experience.
• We require two years of managerial experience on Department of Defense efforts.
• We prefer a masters degree in information technology or a related discipline.
• We prefer familiarity with the United States Navy.
• We prefer experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.
• We require a current, active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret access.
• We expect the ability to travel about 10% of the time.
• The role requires movement between our site and the government facility for client meetings and support activities.
• The position requires the ability to remain stationary for about half of the workday and to occasionally move around the office for filing, communication, and presentations.

• We establish information requirements through analysis to support the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
• We design system architecture across software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future cross-functional needs.
• We ensure systems align with open systems architecture standards, including OSI, ISO, and IEEE OSE reference models, as applicable to IM solutions, APIs, and external environments.
• We ensure the common operating environment remains TAFIM compliant.
• We assess management, planning, organizational, and process issues analytically and systemically, then develop corrective actions.
• We define system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
• We handle program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• We apply broad technical knowledge across all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
