Job Opportunity: Buyer II

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the purchasing and vendor negotiation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Title: Buyer II

Location: Irving, TX

Pay Range: $28/hr - $32/hr

What's the Job?

• Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
• Work under general supervision to accomplish procurement goals.
• Perform a variety of tasks relying on limited experience and judgment.
• Maintain compliance with standard procurement practices and procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in procurement or related field.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within procurement.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
