LHH has a fantastic opportunity for a highly qualified Senior Grant Analyst to support our client on a consulting basis. This 3+ month engagement is based in Manhattan and offers a primarily remote schedule, with just 1-2 days in the office per month. Apply now for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

• Manage audit schedules, grant receivables, and customer aging for contracts and departmental functions
• Analyze monthly financials, cost center performance, and variances to provide insights on revenue, expenses, and cost allocations
• Prepare forecasts and cash flow projections using historical data, financial trends, and input from internal stakeholders
• Produce and present monthly financial reports, along with ad hoc reporting for internal and external needs
• Oversee contract-related and accounting processes, including journal entries and preparation of funding submissions, vouchers, renewals, and budget modifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 3+ years of experience in grant accounting or nonprofit contract management
• Experience with NYC funding sources (e.g., HUD, HRA, HOPWA) strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar)

$40-45/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
