Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic educational setting near Granger, IN, where you'll have the opportunity to support both Special Education and General Education students. In this rewarding contract role, you’ll provide consultative services and conduct evaluations, making a meaningful impact on student progress and school communities alike. The position offers a per diem schedule of 27.5 hours every 9 weeks, designed to maintain flexibility while ensuring your occupational therapy skills are put to excellent use.

Key Qualifications:

• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience delivering OT services in a school setting is preferred
• Familiarity with special education and general education populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for consultative work with educators and families
• Knowledge of evaluation tools and strategies for school-aged children

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in accordance with school-based guidelines
• Provide consultative services, offering strategies and recommendations to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulations pertaining to student care
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicating student progress and therapeutic recommendations
