Medical Director - Physiatrist
LifePoint Health
Lifepoint Rehabilitation, in partnership with San Juan Regional Medical Center, is seeking a Medical Director to lead their 16-bed acute rehab unit. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative work environment, utilizing the latest technology to impact patient care. The Medical Director will play a vital role in a nationally recognized healthcare organization, focusing on comprehensive rehabilitation services in Farmington, New Mexico.
Practice Info
- 16-bed acute rehab unit
- Serves patients in need of comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies
- Opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic and do inpatient consults
Responsibilities
- Provide services of a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Collaborate with the Program Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction
- Ensure conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission
