Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and focused imaging for small parts
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, providing clear explanations throughout the procedure
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring any issues are reported without delay
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain patient records within our electronic medical record system
• Keep current with advancements in ultrasound techniques and best clinical practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably a graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
