Valora St. Anthony, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our growing team! Valora St. Anthony is located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our community is easily accessible via major roads, including Highway 38 (St. Anthony Blvd) and Highway 65, making us a convenient option for employees in St. Anthony, Columbia Heights, Northeast Minneapolis, Shoreview, and Roseville. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 73-unit assisted living and care suites. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Part-Time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Every Other Weekend Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour Are you compassionate towards others? Our Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties Include:

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
