Overview
Occupational Therapist, General — Clearlake, California, US. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,457 to $2,497 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Day shifts, 5x8 schedule; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Work setting: a critical access hospital with outpatient focus and some acute inpatient coverage.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and deliver targeted interventions in outpatient settings, with some inpatient coverage as needed.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve daily living activities, mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings with the care team for ongoing care planning.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, activity modifications, and safety strategies to support continued recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care and support timely discharge planning.
- Adhere to evidence-based practices, maintain patient safety, and ensure thorough and compliant documentation.

Requirements
- Active California license as an Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification
- At least two years of recent experience in the field
- Ability to work in outpatient settings with occasional acute inpatient coverage
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment (per job notes)
