Registered Nurse-RN Unit Manager

Registered Nurse-RN Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred Prior experience managing staff is preferred Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by: monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care. Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residents Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator Licensed Practical Nurse may be considered Registered Nurse-RN Unit Manager Schedules & Benefits: Schedule: Full time, MOD You can choose to get paid every day – no more waiting for payday!
