Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems, and complete appropriate repairs in a timely manner. Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on all operating equipment, including production packaging, materials transfer facilities, and powered equipment (scissor lift, company vehicles), in accordance with maintenance task requirements. Perform minor design and operation of new or used equipment for operations improvement projects. Maintain accurate maintenance work records using the computer maintenance management system. Handle chemical waste treatment and disposal. Perform duties specified by the Supervisor/Manager. Requirements Forklift certification. High School Diploma (G.E.D.) may include specialized vocational courses. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven, motivated individual who can work with limited supervision. Perform duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. Ability to read, write, and comprehend business documents such as operational manuals and work orders. 2-3 years of maintenance experience in production, manufacturing, PLCs, robotics or other manufacturing-related experience. 2nd shift position.
