Advanced Clinical Informaticist - LPN/RN

Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Advanced Clinical Informaticist, supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical application programs and systems. This role ensures all software aligns with design specifications, project goals, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the design and testing of clinical applications, preparing test data and validating programs, screens, and job streams to meet project and departmental standards.
• Create efficient, logical program code and clear system documentation that fulfills project requirements.
• Oversee daily clinical application operations, ensuring effective, efficient, and timely processing methods.
• Provide guidance and support to staff, help remove performance barriers, and foster problem-solving to enhance team collaboration and healthcare quality.
• Review departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement recommendations to boost efficiency.
• Plan and manage short- and long-term projects to improve departmental operations and healthcare service quality.
• Implement software applications, perform technical analyses, and maintain documentation to support smooth department functioning.
• Consult with staff regarding hardware and software capabilities and limitations to promote high-quality service delivery.
• Assist in developing and coordinating department policies and procedures, ensuring their effective application to enhance efficiency and care quality.

Education and Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credentials required. Experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT preferred.

Requirements:
