HVAC/Sheet Metal Order Specialist

Customer Service Order Specialist (Sheet Metal / HVAC) to act as the key link between sales, customers, and the production floor. This role converts sales and engineering details into accurate, build ready fabrication orders so HVAC ductwork is produced correctly, on time, and to customer expectations.

Important: This is not a call center CSR role. It's a technical, detail-oriented position supporting accurate fabrication and smooth workflow across departments.

HVAC/Sheet Metal Order Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)

What You'll Do:

• Review HVAC duct drawings (rectangular, spiral, fittings, gauges, insulation, etc.)
• Perform detailed take offs: quantities, sizes, materials, and special requirements
• Enter precise production orders for fabrication
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and schedule alignment
• Coordinate with Order Entry, Estimating, Sales Reps, Customers, and Production
• Clarify order details, communicate revisions, and support production needs

HVAC/Sheet Metal Order Specialist Qualifications:

What You Need:

• HVAC / Sheet Metal experience (preferred) • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans (required)

• Strong understanding of duct types, fittings, gauges, seams, and insulation

• High attention to detail—small errors can create major production issues

• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
