Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure while clearly explaining every step
• Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in our electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonography and patient positioning techniques
