GM Cert Technician

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented GM Cert. Technicians to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience
• Previous experience as an A & B Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles
• Perform diagnostic tests using appropriate tools and equipment
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow company and manufacturer guidelines for repairs and safety protocols
• Document all repair work and maintain accurate records
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs)
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
