Patient Care Coordinator- Fredericksburg, TX

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Type: Full-time - Direct Hire

Location: Fredericksburg, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a professional and personable Patient Care Coordinator for a full-time opportunity in Fredericksburg (78624). This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills , a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced medical office environment. This is a high-trust position requiring the ability to work independently, as the coordinator will manage the office independently several days each week while also providing remote administrative support to other clinic locations as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

· Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

· Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

· Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.

· Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately.

· Collect and update patient information and maintain accurate records.

· Process co-pays, balances, and other patient payments.

· Support providers and staff with administrative tasks as needed.

· Travel to other nearby locations as needed.

· Provide remote administrative support to other clinic locations as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

· Previous experience as a medical receptionist, front desk coordinator, patient support representative, or in a related role within a healthcare environment

· Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a high-trust environment.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficient with scheduling systems and basic computer applications.

· Must be able to commute to Fredericksburg and travel to nearby locations as needed.
