Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO to support the governance and delivery of complex, large-scale transformation programmes for our clients in the United States.
• The Senior PMO will work closely with Programme Directors, Project Managers, business and technology leaders, and senior client stakeholders to establish effective governance, drive programme execution, manage risks and dependencies, and provide accurate and actionable management information.
• This is a client-facing role with approximately 50% travel to client offices and project locations across the US.
• The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic consulting environment and collaborating with geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities Programme Governance & PMO Management

• Establish and manage PMO governance frameworks, standards, processes, and controls.Support Programme Directors and Project Managers in the planning and execution of large transformation programmes.
• Establish programme governance forums, meeting cadence, decision-making structures, and escalation processes.Coordinate Steering Committee, Programme Board, and senior leadership meetings.Maintain programme governance documentation, decisions, actions, and approvals.Ensure compliance with programme governance standards and delivery methodologies.

Programme Planning & Delivery

• Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, milestones, critical paths, and dependencies.Monitor programme progress against scope, schedule, budget, resources, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and project teams.Identify delivery risks, schedule slippage, resource constraints, and cross-workstream dependencies.
• Work with Programme and Project Managers to develop recovery and mitigation plans.Ensure key milestones and deliverables are tracked through to completion.

Executive Reporting & Management Information

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level programme status reports.Develop programme dashboards covering milestones, financials, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and overall delivery status.
• Consolidate reporting from multiple workstreams into clear and concise executive-level information.
• Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.Prepare presentations and materials for Steering Committees and executive governance forums.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

• Own and maintain programme-level RAID logs.Ensure risks and issues have clear owners, mitigation plans, target dates, and escalation paths.Monitor cross-project and cross-functional dependencies.Proactively identify emerging risks and potential impacts to programme objectives.Escalate critical risks and issues to Programme Leadership in a timely manner.

Financial & Resource Management

• Support programme financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Track programme spend against approved budgets.Support resource planning, capacity management, and workforce tracking.Monitor resource requirements across programme workstreams.Provide management reporting on financial and resource performance.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Partner closely with senior client stakeholders, Programme Directors, Project Managers, Business Leads, Technology Leaders, and functional teams.
• Facilitate programme meetings, workshops, planning sessions, and governance forums.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Drive accountability for actions and deliverables.Communicate complex programme information clearly to senior executives.Manage stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.

Travel & Client Engagement

• Travel to US client locations approximately 50% of the time based on project requirements.
• Participate in client workshops, programme reviews, governance meetings, and onsite delivery activities.
• Work effectively with onsite and offshore/nearshore teams.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work from different client locations across the United States.Travel may include domestic US travel and, where required, occasional international travel.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.12+ years of experience in PMO, Programme Management, Project Management, or Transformation Management.Proven experience supporting large-scale, complex transformation programmes.
• Strong experience in PMO governance, programme planning, reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder management.Experience working directly with senior executives and client leadership.
• Strong understanding of programme and project management methodologies.Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities across complex programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification.Experience in Management Consulting or Professional Services.Experience delivering transformation programmes within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Experience working with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.Experience managing geographically distributed and multicultural teams.Experience with tools such as:
