Registered Nurse (RN) PRN, ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) ICU – Per Diem, As Needed Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Document patient care provided. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license. Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred from an accredited nursing school. BCLS required. About the Facility Valley View Medical Center is a 102,000‑square‑foot acute‑care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to the community.
