The company is looking for an engineer with strong experience tied to:conventional onshore oil & gas assetsreserve growth initiativesmature field developmentproduction optimizationinfill drillingrecompletionswell reactivationssecondary recovery / waterflood projectseconomic evaluations and project screeningResponsibilities include:Identify and evaluate opportunities tied to reserve growth and production optimizationSupport development and exploitation projects across producing assetsAnalyze production performance, pressure data, and field trendsEvaluate development opportunities involving drilling, recompletions, and secondary recovery initiativesWork closely with operations and production teams to advance development projectsPerform technical and economic evaluations tied to field development opportunitiesSupport reserve-related reporting and engineering analysisAssist with field development planning and optimization initiativesProvide engineering recommendations focused on maximizing asset value and long-term reserve potentialThis role offers strong visibility, broad engineering exposure, and meaningful operational impact within a fast-moving environment where engineering recommendations directly influence development strategy and reserve growth initiatives.Requirements:Petroleum Engineering degree requiredApproximately 5–10 years of oil & gas industry experienceStrong reservoir engineering experience supporting conventional onshore oil & gas assetsExperience supporting reserve growth and development initiativesMature field development experienceProduction optimization experienceSecondary recovery / waterflood experience preferredExperience evaluating recompletions and infill drilling opportunitiesStrong economic evaluation and project screening capabilitiesExperience working closely with operations and production teamsStrong analytical and technical problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently inside a lean operational environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience supporting field development and reserve optimization projectsBenefits:Base salary target approximately $145K–$190K depending on experience and overall fitBonus target approximately 15%–20%Houston-based positionRelocation assistance may be available for the right candidateHigh-visibility engineering roleBroad exposure across development and exploitation projectsOpportunity to work closely with operations and leadership teamsLong-term growth opportunity within a growing engineering organization
