The starting wage for this position is $26.00 Responsibilities: Primary responsibility: Sample collection and following aseptic techniques to ensure samples are collected, handled, and processed accurately Prepare sample for analysis by recording, weighing and blending Organizing samples for specific tests dependent of product code and customer requirements Prepare media for various test methods and record quality check information Responsible for proper disposal of hazards such as autoclaving Tracking samples after they have been received and accepted for analysis, maintaining the identity and integrity of the sample throughout the testing process Collecting samples and maintaining proper chain of custody Maintain a safe working environment and takes precautions in preventing product and/or equipment damages and losses Calibrates and operates lab testing equipment Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Basic computer and mathematical skills. Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines. Ability to work well with others.
