Position Overview As a Teller within PNC’s Retail Branch organization you will be based in New Albany, IN, delivering a unique customer experience that improves financial wellbeing, builds loyalty, and increases share of wallet. The role is performed in an in‑office environment that values collaboration and continuous learning. Responsibilities Process a variety of customer interactions. Educate customers on available alternatives and self‑service options for managing transactions. Identify banking opportunities during conversations and refer prospects to branch staff. Execute lobby engagement activities that connect with customers and promote PNC products. Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customers’ problems. Adhere to all policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. Demonstrate risk‑management practices in line with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Maintain a customer‑focused approach, ensuring satisfaction is central to all business decisions. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for a teller role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time constraints. Basic knowledge of banking products and related financial services. Proficiency with digital tools and technology used in banking. Self‑motivated to identify and pursue opportunities while engaging customers proactively. Education: No degree required.
